SUD TIROL/SOUTH TYROL NATIONALISM IN THE ALTO ADIGE OF ITLAY/LOMBARDY?

I Picked up on this via the BBC World Service, first got to know about the struggle in South Tyrol from Eurig ap Gwilym RIP who used to go to South Tyrol for holidays when young and had kept up a keen interest in this 'region' under Italian Occupation. Eurig was very much into the use of Forests, Wood based Industries and bye products, he was in the 'Sixties/Seventies' way ahead of Coed Cymru in thinking on this. Now revisting via the web I see much in Sud Tirol as an automomist region that could benefit an Autonomist Gwynedd or maybe 'Pura Wallia Autonomous Region' would be more economically as well as culturally viable, am thinking way head when 'Gogs' (is it ok to use the 'G' word?) will without doubt become fed up of being ruled from Cardiff as much as from London. I shall place news info on the 150th Italian Unification celebrations in Welsh Rememberancer blog, Lombard League History in Hwb Hanes Cymru blog and stuff on the political Lombard League today in The Welsh Patriot Blog. In this Sud Tyrol connection do look up the Ladins, I think there is a Celtic Language connection there, will put further info on this in my Celtic Realms blog? Links below thanks to Google.
